- Gen 1 (the “priestly source,” see Anderson, "Biblical Origins" pp. 19-23)

- Compare to building of Tent/Tabernacle (Exod 40; also the “priestly source”); a sevenfold sequence: done “according to God’s command”
- God tabernacles among us by making a portion of his person (his "glory" reside on earth. All Israel sees it.

- Logos means "principle of reason" a close parallel to the Hebrew word for "wisdom."
- Light in Gen 1:3 and John 1:4b-5
- Logos tabernacles among us (1:14-18, see annotation to this verse) so that we can see his glory.
