- Describe how the relationship between the soul and the body is portrayed in The Secret Lives of Dentists, “Out of the Snow,” and Babette’s Feast. Compare this to the way this relationship is portrayed in Pausanias’ and Aristophanes’ speeches.
- In “Out of the Snow,” why does LuAnn say that she did not attack her intruders so that she could be alive for her children or her husband?
- When the sisters thank Babette, why does she say that she didn’t prepare the meal just for them? Compare this with the previous question.
- Do the two sisters in Babette’s Feast make a mistake by rejecting their suitors? Do they regret it?
