In a telephone (or in-person) conversation , interview your parents or grandparents about their experience during the years of protest we have studied:
  1. How were they affected by the large scale social movements in civil rights and anti-war activities (ca. 1960-1974)?
  2. What were their thoughts and feelings "back then" about these movements and happenings?
  3. Did they participate in any such movements or actions? Why or why not?
  4. Did they participate in any political or social movements in other era?
  5. What were the primary motivations for their participation or lack thereof?
