In Class Exercise: Blog Banner

Graphic Banner Example
Example for Session 3 In Class Exercise

Create a graphic banner for your blog header, using tools you learned in Chapter 3: shapes, lines, text, curves, brushes, etc. Try to make something that goes with the color scheme of your blog. Don't worry if you're not the best artist in the world; this exercise is not primarily about being "pretty" - it's about using the tools.

Follow these parameters:

After you finish editing your banner

Add the banner to your blog From the Blogger dashboard click Layout > Page Elements

If you have time: create a second banner as an alternative.

Ask your friends which one they prefer.
