Assignments: Hour 19

• Publish your "wildthing" (or other Flash exercise)
• Upload the required files to your web space
  • You may wish to place them in their own folder
• Submit the URL - it will look something like this: http://www.domain.com/filename.html

• Publish a Windows projector for you "wildthing" or another short animation you have done during the course. 

In-Class Exercise: Mashup

Create a web page that incorporates multiple media elements.

1. Launch Dreamweaver
2. Open your N or H drive, wherever you saved the web page for Hour 19
3. Make a copy of that page and open it in Dreamweaver
4. Below the Flash "block", insert a table with 2 columns and 3 rows
5. Set the width of each cell to 50%
6. Merge the two cells in the top row and type in the title "Mashup"
7. Scale the Flash block down and drag it into one of the cells in row 2
8. Find a YouTube video you like and copy its "embed" code
9. Click in one of the cells in the webpage table and switch to "code" view
10. Paste the embed code and return to "design" view
11. Repeat steps 8-10 for a Flickr photo
12. Save the page and view it in a browser
13. Submit the URL
