Assignment: Hour 2

• In a new FLA file, create a drawing in object draw mode that includes at least five of the following:
• straight line with no caps
  • rough pencil line
  • line painted with a diagonal brush
  • smooth line with fancy curves (pen)
  • styled text
  • three aligned circles filled with different colors
  • skewed rectangle
• Submit the FLA file
• Keep copies of ALL of your completed work!

In-Class Exercise: Blog Setup

1. Create an account at www.blogger.com
2. Edit your profile
   You may want to choose NOT to share your profile, name, or e-mail
3. Create a blog
   a.  Choose a template [you can easily change it later]
   b.  Edit the settings - click "Save Settings" before opening a new tab!
                  Basic - Add blog to our listings - choose "No" for more privacy
                  Comments - Who can comment - Only members
4. Post your blog
   1. Paragraph introducing yourself
   2. Poem read in the class
   3. Explanatory paragraph

• Optional: Flickr, a photo-sharing site with over 14 million images, is friendly to Blogger blogs. You can attach an image to your profile or associate one with a post. Use other people's photos or create a Flickr account and post your own.
