Exam Review

You should be able to do each of the tasks listed below.

Flash

• Use drawing tools - text, line, shape, color, fill, erase, etc. 
• Work in both object and merge drawing modes
• Import an image
• Use layers and name them
• Create symbols in the library
• Use multiple symbol instances on the stage
• Use filters, and gradients (not blends)
• Create shape tweens and motion tweens
• Use masking, shape hints, and motion guides (not easing)
• Incorporate sound on a timeline
• Save as FLA and SWF

Photoshop

• Import an image
• Crop and re-size
• Erase
• Fill
• Add text or a simple shape
• Transform - rotate, skew, scale
• Apply a filter
• Adjust color levels, brightness and contrast
• Use layers - note that you must unlock a layer to transform it
• Save as JPG
