Mini-Lecture 2 for Session 6
The canvas is the workspace, like the canvas on which a work of art is painted.
Changing the size of the canvas does not change the size of the image.
The first series of tasks applies to the entire document.

Image > Canvas Size (doesn't change image size – provides more/less room for editing) |

Image > Image Size For Flash, set resolution to 72 Change height or width – other dimension will change |

| Crop | Choose the Crop tool (press C) Draw a box around what you want to keep Double-click inside the box |
For the remaining tasks, first select the object or layer you want to change.
