G. Christopher Clark

Chris Clark earned an BA in Spanish from Cornell and an MA in education from the University of Rochester. He also did advanced work in Instructional Systems Design at Penn State. Chris came to Notre Dame in 1997 and joined the Kaneb Center staff four years later. Prior to coming to South Bend he was Director of Educational Technology at the Culver Academies.
Mr. Clark's original calling was as a high school Spanish teacher. In summer of 2009 he was on the faculty of the Centro de Estudios Internacionales in Toledo, Spain. At Notre Dame, Chris has also taught for the Management department and the MSA program.
Chris works in the Learning Technology Lab at the University of Notre Dame, helping faculty integrate technology into their courses. Some of his recent initiatives include exploration of Tablet PCs, assessment rubrics, and virtual worlds. Mr. Clark has presented workshops at national conferences and published a number of articles on computer education. Chris is very interested in Web page design, and maintains a number of sites, including one called "CultEspán" for the summer 2009 course.
