Instructions
In order to stimulate and engage learning, you will be responsible for submitting a weekly, two-part assignment:

The first part will be 1-2 paragraph response to the weekly readings. You may concentrate on one or more readings or summarize the central theme(s) from the weekly readings. The written response should incorporate specific quotes from the readings to demonstrate a point or illuminate a critical insight you gained from the reading. You may also choose to relate course readings to lectures or current events.

The second part of the weekly assignment aims to keep you thinking about the big picture. Please prepare 1-2 "cosmic" questions that the assigned readings elicited. Be prepared to share these with the class.
The total assignment should be no longer than one page total and attached in a word document with your name written and the top of the page. Please email this assignment before 8pm the day preceeding class.
